Author's POV

It was six, the morning sun streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. A handsome 27-year-old man, stretched languidly on his bed, a smile gracing his lips as he glanced at the clock. He rolled out of the bed, the cool hardwood floor A welcome contrast to the warmth of the sheets.

A man of imposing stature, six feet one inch tall, a wave of muscle flexed beneath his olive skin as he moved, a testament to his rigorous workout routine, his smooth 6-pack abs, and a delicious v line at the display, complimented by deep green almond-shaped eyes, a small, proportional sharp nose, full lips, and a well-defined jawline supporting strong chin, with disheveled dark black hairs from the nights sleep, giving him an unmistakable aura of a Greek God, as he went about making his bed  before slipping into the washroom attached to the walk-in closet.

After around twenty minutes, he emerged from the washroom clad in a black half- sleeve- t-shirt that clung subtly to his physique and a pair of grey shorts.

As he exited his room and stepped into the grand hallway, he found his grandfather, Abhiraj Singh Richand, a man in his late seventies, already seated in the living room, the morning newspaper spread out before him.

"Good Morning Dadu" greeted Aarav his voice warm.

(Grandfather)

"Good Morning beta ji", Abhiraj replied, "Kasrat karne jara hai?"

(Son........Heading to the gym for exercising, I see?)

"Ji Dadu, aap walk pe jare hai?" said Aarav.

(Yes Dadu, You are going for your walk?)

"Ji beta ji, Chale?", answered Abhiraj.

(Indeed son. Shall we go?)

"Ji", Aarav smiled and both of them walked out, the sound of birds chirping outside instantly fell on their ears,  the feel of the cool morning air on his skin as he walks towards the gym nestled in the back of the mansion, and Abhiraj moved towards the sprawling garden outside the mansion. "The Raichand Mansion."

(Of course)

Abhiraj and Aarav are the only one's in the Raichand Mansion, who are the early birds and the first thing after waking up for both of them is walking and gyming, they are as consistent as the sunrise.  Although the rest of the members do exercise but their's no fixed time for them to do so, like the Grandpa and Grandson duo.

Around 8 AM, a beautiful lady adorned in a vibrant sangria red saree, who was in her early fifties, emerged from the small temple within the mansion, her face serene after her prayers, she straight went to the kitchen, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee already filling the air. Abhiraj returned from his walk and retired to his room, while slowly the rest of the family members began to stir, in the living room, their voices a gentle hum in the background.

A sacred ritual of spending time with the family members, sharing stories, catching up on the day's plans, before breakfast is a habit developed in everyone at the Raichand Mansion. As Aarav entered the house still covered in sweat from his workout, he greeted everyone with a soft smile, his dimples deepening, "Good Morning Everyone". Hearing his voice everyone's attention turned towards him and they greeted him back.

"Good Morning Maa", he said, his gaze finding Priyamvada as she emerged from the kitchen, a tray full of mugs filled with coffee and haldi tea.

(Good Morning Mom.)

"Good Morning beta," she replied, her eyes crinkling at the corners, "you are all sweaty, Go freshen up, breakfast is almost ready."

(Good Morning Son.)

With a nod, he retreated upstairs to his room, eager to shower and change. He emerged a few minutes later, clad in a crisp white shirt, black trousers, and a tailored black blazer. A Rolex watch gleamed on his wrist, adding a touch of sophistication.

In the dining room, as he took his seat at the breakfast table, the familiar banter of his siblings erupted, he looked at them shaking his head smiling, at their bickering drama, a source of entertainment for the whole family.

"Anaaya you can't do this all the time", huffed Akarsh, his face flushed.

"Call me Anaaya Di," Anaaya retorted, her voice laced with playful annoyance. "I'm older than you and besides, what did I even do?"

"Being born two minutes earlier than me doesn't make you older stupid," Akarsh argued, "and you ate my cheese sandwich!"

"So what?" Anaaya shrugged. "I'm still older."

Aavya, the peacemaker, chuckled, "Oh my god, bhai, you're acting like a child."

"He is a child you dummy," Advik chimed in, his voice teasing. "who just had grown tall."

"I'm not a child, you are", pouted Akarsh.

'I'm not", Advik countered.

Aarav watched the playful bickering unfold with afond smile, "Really? I think you're all still children," he remarked.

Anaaya, ever the instigator, grinned, "Then bring a child for yourself, and you won't think we're children anymore."

Aarav raised an eyebrow, "How?"

Advik, ewver the blunt one, replied, "Marry a girl."

The room fell silent. A flicker of amusement crossed the elder's faces, while Aarav's brow furrowed.

"Aavya, don't take that," Aarav said, quickly changing the subject.

The banter resumed, the tension momentarily eclipsing the tension. As they ate, laughter filled the dining room, a testament to the vibrant, loving atmosphere of the Richand household. However, one person's gaze lingered on Aarav, their eyes gleaming with a sense of satisfaction, as if the prospect of marriage was the only thing on their mind.

After breakfast, Aarav sought blessings from his elders, touching the feet to seek their blessings. He then stepped out of the mansion and made his way to his car, the weight of the day settling upon him. As he drove away, a sense of anticipation lingered in the air, a hint of something unexpected on the horizon.
