Hope you all are amazing.

Aarav's POV
We stepped inside the Mehra house, a wave of warmth washing over me. The air was thick with laughter and anticipation, and all eyes were fixed on us, their smiles wide and welcoming.
"Hayeeee, mere bachee tera chehra itna laal kyu hai?" Malini Dadi asked, her voice laced with playful curiosity, her eyes twinkling. (Hayeeee, why is your face so red, my child?)
Shikha, ever the mischievous one, chimed in, "Oh ho Dadi, ab Di, Jiju ke saath rahegi toh laal toh hogi hi na." (Oh ho, Grandma, when Di stays with Brother-in-Law, then she will definitely turn red.)
"Aree Shikha, abhi toh dono ne haan bhi nahi kiya hai, aur tu abhi se Jiju bula rahi hai?" Ruhan retorted, shaking his head. (Aree Shikha, they haven't even said Yes, and you started calling him Brother-in-Law?)
"Mujhe toh bahut pasand hai," Shikha declared, her eyes sparkling. "Agar Di ne nahi ki haan shaadi ke liye toh main kar lungi. Di, pasand nahi karte toh main kya kar sakti hoon isme?" (I like him a lot. If Di doesn't want to marry him, I will. If Di doesn't like him, what can I do?)
"Maine aisa kab kaha?" Adwitya blurted out, her head snapping towards Sikha, her cheeks flushing a deeper shade of crimson. (When did I say that?)
The room erupted in laughter, the sound echoing through the house. I couldn't help but smile at her flustered reaction.
"Aisa toh nahi kaha tune," Meera Chachi teased, her eyes twinkling. "Par kal tak toh tujhe ladke se milne mein bhi dar lag raha tha, aaj aisa kya ho gaya, ki teri nazre usse hatt hi nahi rahi hain?" (You didn't say that, but you were even scared to meet him till yesterday, and now what happened that you can't take your eyes off him?)
"Oh ho Aunty, aap hamare bhai ko bhi toh dekhiye, unki nazre bhi toh nahi hatt rahi hain humari Bhabhi se," Akarsh added, his voice laced with playful mischief. (Oh ho, Aunty, you see our brother also can't take his eyes off our Sister-in-Law.)
"Mere bachon ko pareshan karna band karo tum sab," Dadi interjected, her voice laced with affectionate exasperation. (Don't tease them you all.)
Adwitya muttered under her breath, "Aur nahi toh kya, abhi toh shaadi hui bhi nahi hai humari aur yeh log abhi se pareshan kar rahe hain, shaadi ke baad kitna pareshan karenge hume." (Exactly, we didn't even get married, and they are teasing me from now only, what will happen when we get married?) I suppressed a grin at her comment, finding her candidness endearing.
"Aarav bete, humare ghar ke sabse khaas insaan ko tujhe dene wale hain," Jeet Dadu said, his voice filled with sincerity. "Khayal rakhna, humari bachchi ka." (Aarav, my child, we are giving you our family's most precious member, take care of our child.)
"Aree yeh bhi koi kehne ki baat hai Jeet," Dadu retorted, his voice laced with mock indignation. "Adwitya humari beti hai, kyun nahi khayal rakhega yeh gadhe ka bachcha?" (You don't need to say that Jeet, Adwitya is our child, why won't he take care of her?)
"Papa, aap meri beizzati kar rahe ho, apne pote ki nahi," Dad sulked, feigning offense. (Papa, you are insulting me, not your Grandchild.)
"Kyunki tu hai hi gadha," Dadu replied, his eyes twinkling. "Mera pota mujhpe gaya hai." (Because you are a donkey, not my grandchild, he has taken my genes.)
Laughter filled the room, the tension dissipating into lighthearted banter.
"Adwitya, Aarav, hum sab ki toh haan hai is rishte ke liye," Sandhya Aunty said, her voice gentle. "Par tum dono ki haan sabse zyada zaruri hai. Toh tum dono ek-do baar milo, jaano, samjho ek dusre ko, date pe jao, phir hume apna jawab dena." (Adwitya, Aarav, we all like this relationship, but your response matters the most. So, you both meet each other, get to know each other, go on dates, and then you both can answer.)
"Hawwww, aap meri Buaa ko date pe le jaoge?" Tara asked, her eyes wide with curiosity. (Hawwww, you will take my Aunt on a date?)
"Maybe," I replied, squatting down to her level. "Agar aapki Bua mere saath date pe jana chahegi toh." (If your Aunt wants to go on a date with me.) I looked at Adwitya, who was looking at me, but quickly averted her gaze.
"Main bhi date pe jaungi Buaa ke saath," Tara declared, her eyes shining with excitement. (I'll also go on a date with my Aunt.)
I picked her up in my arms, a smile playing on my lips. "Bachaa, date pe sirf Buaa aur aapke PJ jayenge," Shranya Bhabhi explained, causing everyone to giggle. (Bachaa your Aunt and PJ will go on a date, no one else.)
"Main kyun nahi ja sakti date pe?" Tara questioned, her lower lip jutting out in a pout. (Why can't I go on a date?)
"Kyunki Buaa aur PJ ko ek dusre ke saath time spend karna hai, isliye woh date pe jayenge," Adhik Bhai explained, and Tara's face fell. (Because your Aunt and PJ want to spend some time with each other, that's why they will go on a date.)
"Mujhe bhi date pe jana hai," Tara muttered, her voice laced with disappointment. (I also want to go on a date.)
"It's okay, main aapko date pe le jaunga mere saath," I offered, my gaze shifting to Adwitya. "Aap chalengi na mere saath date pe?" (I will take you on a date with me, Will you go on a date with me?)
I looked at her, and this time, she didn't look away. She blinked her eyes, as if understanding my unspoken question and answering it with her eyes. A smile spread across my face, and I turned back to Tara.
She nodded enthusiastically, hugging me tightly. "Yesh, I'll go. You are so nice, I like you."
After a while, we returned home, the elders reminding me to take her on a date that weekend.
Adwitya's POV
Back in my room, the events of the day replayed in my mind, the lingering question echoing in my ears: "Aap chalengi mere saath date pe?" (Will you go on a date with me?) His eyes, the way he looked at me, the smile that played on his lips when I blinked in response – it was all so confusing, yet undeniably intriguing.
The door swung open, and my siblings and Bhabhi filed in, their faces filled with curiosity.
"So?" Bhabhi asked, her eyes searching mine.
"What do you think about him?" Bhai questioned, his voice laced with a hint of concern.
I remained silent, unable to articulate the whirlwind of emotions swirling within me.
"Take your time, Di," Ruhan said, his voice gentle.
"Yes, and if you don't like him, tell me," Shikha added, her eyes flashing with a hint of mischief.
"So that you can marry him? Pehle thik se badi toh ho ja," Ruhan retorted, playfully hitting her on the head. (So that you can marry him? First, grow up properly.)
"I'm 20 now," Shikha huffed, crossing her arms.
Their bickering faded into the background as my thoughts drifted back to Aarav.
"Adhu," Bhai said, his voice soft, cutting through the sibling squabble. "We all really like Aarav. I've met him a few times, and he's a nice person. I can say that. But, you know, when it comes to you, I can't trust anyone. But I trust him. What you think matters the most, Adhu. It's your life, it's an important decision for you. Take your time, and then answer everyone."
He walked out, followed by Bhabhi, who gave me a reassuring smile. "Take rest, Adhu. Don't stress yourself thinking."
I closed my eyes, the weight of their words settling heavily on my shoulders. I had a lot to think about.
